A 'WHO'S WHO' OF SOME OF THE PEOPLE BEHIND A1 (in no particular order)
HG Sir. Philip Fish After co-founding A1 in January 2008 and having taken part in the Pprit Revolution, Sir. Fish was appointed to the position of Deputy Chairman on January 3 2008, after having written A1's constitution single-handedly. In November 2008, former Chairman Pprit bestowed the Order of A1 on him, with the rank of Knight. After former Chairman Pprit's disappearance in February 2009, he became leader of the A1 People's Party, whilst Acting Chairman Llenroc was in power, and subsequently led the party to a landslide victory in the August 2009 General Elections, becoming Chairman in August. He is also constitutionally Minister for Interior, as well as helping with the Ministry of Communications.
Justice Maximus Ze BlahThe resurrection of the A1 Judicial System in June 2009, brought about the need for a judge to chair in the High Court of A1, dealing mainly with constitutional matters and cases involving High Treason. Justice Ze Blah was appointed to the position, as a result of an election promise during the August 2009 General Elections, soon after the elections have terminated. He is also the Justice who conducted the 'YouTube Crisis' trials at the end of 2009, and is widely respected as being a neutral and important figure in A1.
Colonel David Massarde
This prominent figure came to power at the conclusion of the August 2009 General Elections, after he was appointed to the position of Minister of Propaganda. Since then, he has produced much propaganda material for the nation, including posters and flag designs. He is also the person behind the redesigning of the A1 flag. He had his Lordship bestowed on him by Chairman Fish soon after his appointment as minister, as well as becoming head of the A1 Civil Security Service at the beginning of the 'YouTube Crisis'. He is also the Commander of the A1 Defence Force, being General Officer Commanding A1 Defence Force (GOCA1DF).
Dame Mars McTavishMars McTavish is the current Governor and founder of the A1 protectorate of Lichthalzen as well as the current Under-Secretary to the Ministry of Culture in the national A1 government. She was appointed to her current position in the Ministry of Culture on October 3 2009, being the first appointment into A1's public service. Her Governorship of Lichthalzen resulted in the acquisition of around 40 citizens for which she was widely applauded by the A1 government. In Lichthalzen, she established the musical group, the
'Electrolights', as well as single-handedly organising the communes of
Lichthalzen.She had her Dameship in the Order of A1 (Grade II) bestowed on her in December 2009 by Chairman Fish, for outstanding services to A1.
Baron Timothy von SharkbaitThe leader of
A1's main opposition party, the A1 Democratic Socialist Party, has held
many different positions since becoming a citizen of A1 in mid-2008. By
concluding a power-sharing agreement with the A1 People's Party in
September 2008, he, and other members of his party, were eligible to
join the public service or become members of government. From October
2008, he was Governor of B2, helping to raise the profile of the
then protectorate. Since his resignation from the position in April 2009, he
became Minister for Infrastructure in the government, followed by his
appointment to the position of Permanent Secretary to the Office of the
Deputy Chairman. |
